Match results

Liv Morgan defeated Lana; Ruby Riott returned to attack Liv after the match

All signs pointed to a heavily-disrupted match as Liv Morgan challenged Lana once again on Monday Night Raw.

However the match went off surprisingly cleanly as Liv Morgan secured victory over Lana in a hard-fought affair.
Yet there was drama after the final bell as Morgan’s victory lap was spoiled by the timely intervention of Ruby Riott.

Her former Riot Squad running mate appeared to congratulate Morgan initially before suddenly switching and attacking her – leaving The Ravishing Russian to strike with a facebuster.

Drew McIntyre defeated 24/7 Champion Mojo Rawley

Drew McIntyre looks on fire at the moment. Fresh off a Men’s Royal Rumble victory, McIntyre saw off 24/7 Champion Mojo Rawley in a match that lasted just three seconds.

The first-ever British Royal Rumble winner then called out WWE Champion Lesnar and claimed The Beast Incarnate was “apprehensive” in the face of him.

Raw Tag Team Champion Buddy Murphy & AOP def. Kevin Owens & The Viking Raiders (Six-Man Tag Team Elimination Match)

Kevin Owens had a good a chance as ever to defeat The Monday Night Messiah and his gang with Buddy Murphy and AOP with the Viking Raiders for backing.

But a combination of Seth Rollins getting involved and a nasty crash into the ring apron, Erik and Ivar were removed from the equation.

So Owens went at it alone, eliminating Murphy and Akam, but another assist from Rollins helped Rezar snuff out an excellent attempt by the former Universal Champion.

Aleister Black defeated Eric Young

Aleister Black added Eric Young to his growing list of defeated opponents but is still yet to reveal his endgame.

Despite shocking the entire Raw locker room, Black did not confirm what his ambitions were – instead insisting that people should be whatever they want to be.

Rey Mysterio def. Angel Garza via Disqualification

Zelina Vega brought in Angel Garza – the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion – to face Humberto Carrillo. The plan worked as Garza took out Humberto with a shocking attack before making an example of Rey Mysterio.

Mysterio suddenly found himself in a rematch and was caught out by Garza at first. But the veteran would have the last laugh – of sorts – as Garza earned a disqualification for drilling Mysterio into exposed concrete.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Asuka def. Natalya and challenged Becky Lynch to a Raw Women’s Title rematch

Asuka has refused to accept her Royal Rumble loss to Becky Lynch but has taken her frustrations out on Natalya on Monday Night Raw.

The Empress of Tomorrow then took the mic and issued a challenge for Becky Lynch to go at it once again in the ring.

The Man was only too happy to accept and double up against Asuka.

Ricochet def. Raw Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley to earn the right to challenge Brock Lesnar at WWE Super ShowDown

A few weeks after looking Lesnar directly in the eye and telling him he wasn’t scared of taking him on, Ricochet proved his mettle in a thrilling Triple Threat match.

Par for course, the match saw AOP and Buddy Murphy emerging to assist Rollins but Kevin Owens and Erik from the Viking Raiders were on hand to drive the interference away.

Ricochet then claimed the win with a 630 delivered to Bobby Lashley. Lesnar, right on cue, then appeared – dropping his Super ShowDown challenger with an F-5 to set things up very nicely for the WWE Super ShowDown.
