Graham Poll: BT Sport Biography

The former referee provides unique insight on the men in the middle during BT Sport's live football coverage.

Graham Poll is a former Premier League referee who now works as an analyst for BT Sport.

He is a regular in the BT Sport Score studio, offering his take on controversial incidents in the Saturday 3pm Premier League games.

Graham is also on hand during BT Sport's live Premier League and FA Cup coverage to scrutinise the key decisions made by the men in the middle.

He moved into media after retiring in 2007 following a 26-year stint as a referee, taking charge of 1,544 matches in that time.

The Hitchin whistle blower is considered the best English referee of the last 25 years in a list maintained by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.

Graham's career highlights include going to two World Cups (2002 and 2006) and overseeing the FA Cup final (2000), the League Cup final (2002) and the UEFA Cup final (2005).
