Ricky is statistically one of the greatest Test captains in cricket history, having racked up 48 victories in his 77 matches in charge between 2004 and 2010.
He steered Australia to their 5-0 whitewash of England in the 2006/07 Ashes and is the only player to feature in 100 Test wins.
The 2006 Wisden Cricketer of the Year also scored a whopping 13,704 runs in 375 ODIs, a total surpassed only by Kumar Sangakkara (14,234) and Tendulkar (18,426).
He featured in three World Cup triumphs (1999, 2003 and 2007), with the latter two coming as captain.
