Arsenal, who are still to appoint a manger after Unai Emery’s departure, were drawn against Greek outfit Olympiacos.

For Celtic, who finished as group winners, their reward is a last 32 tie against Copenhagen.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United, who won the competition in 2017/18, will meet Club Brugge who dropped in from the Champions League group stages.

It's Braga, who were in the same group as Wolves, up next up for Rangers as manager Steven Gerrard looks to lift this trophy as both a player and manager come May.

For Wolves, the first team out of the hat, their European adventure will continue against La Liga side Espanyol.

Olympiacos v Arsenal

It’s a familiar foe for Arsenal, with the Gunners meeting the Greek side for the fifth time in the 11 seasons but the first time in this competition.

Having been drawn against them in the Champions League group stages four times between 2009 and 2016, they will know their opponents well.

Both sides have won four of those eight fixtures, with six victories coming for the respective home sides, until the record was upset in their most recent encounters.

Copenhagen v Celtic

Neil Lennon was playing for Celtic the last time they came up against the Danish outfit back in the 2006/07 Champions League group stage.

The hosts were victorious on both occasions, with Kenny Miller’s penalty enough for all three points at Celtic Park on matchday two.

Despite going down 3-1 in Denmark, the Bhoys still qualified for the knockout stages as they finished runners-up to Man Utd in Group F.

Club Brugge v Manchester United

The last time United met their Belgian opponents, they ran out comfortable 7-1 aggregate winners in a 2015/16 Champions League play-off tie.

Louis Van Gaal’s Red Devils recovered from Michael Carrick’s early own-goal to triumph 3-1 at Old Trafford, with summer signing Memphis Depay scoring twice.

The return leg was more straight forward, with Wayne Rooney bagging a hat-trick before Ander Herrera rounded off the Jan Breydel Stadium rout.

Rangers v Braga

The final fixture drawn, Rangers will look to do something Wolves couldn’t during the group stage and get the better of the Portuguese outfit.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men lost at home before drawing at the Estadio Municipal de Braga, as they finished runners-up to Braga.

It will be Gers’ first meeting with the side, having played their compatriots Porto in the group stage, as they prepare to play knockout football for the first time since 2011.

Wolves v Espanyol

The sides will meet for the first time when they come up against each other in February, as the Premier League side’s European journey takes in another country.

Having journeyed to the Ireland, Armenia, Italy, Turkey, Slovakia and Portugal, Wolves will now play Spanish opponents for the first time since 1959/60.

The Midlands club came up against Espanyol’s city neighbours Barcelona on that occasion and certainly won’t want a repeat of their 9-2 aggregate thumping.
